UNDERSTAND THE TREATMENT

What is NAD+?

NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy and other biochemical processes. This catalog entry is injectable NAD+, with 1,000 mg total in a 5 mL vial. A biological role does not establish a benefit from supplementation by injection.

The starting point is your health history and the reason you are seeking care—not a dosing schedule found online. Your clinician can assess whether a treatment discussion is appropriate and whether a better-studied option makes more sense.

WHAT PEOPLE ASK

NAD+: common questions

What is NAD+?

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme every cell uses to make energy and repair DNA. It is not a peptide. Levels fall with age, which is why it is studied in aging research.

Do NAD+ injections work?

Human studies of injected or IV NAD+ are small and mostly measure blood levels and tolerability, not health outcomes. Claims that NAD+ reverses aging or cures fatigue are not established.

NAD+ injection vs IV vs oral?

IV infusions take hours; injections under the skin are shorter; oral supplements usually provide precursors such as nicotinamide riboside rather than NAD+ itself. See NAD+ injections vs IV vs oral.

What are the side effects of NAD+ injections?

Commonly reported effects include injection-site discomfort, flushing, nausea and a feeling of chest or stomach tightness, which in IV studies was linked to infusion speed. Your clinician reviews your medications and conditions first.

How much does NAD+ cost?

NAD+ is $170 a month on a one-month plan. That includes the online consultation, the clinician review, supplies, and two-day shipping once the pharmacy dispenses. Three-, six- and twelve-month plans are offered at checkout. If the clinician decides treatment is not appropriate for you, your payment is refunded. See what peptide pricing includes.

Can I get NAD+ online?

Yes, through a clinician review. You complete an online health assessment, a licensed clinician reviews it (a phone call may be needed) and decides whether NAD+ is appropriate. If it is prescribed, a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy prepares it and ships it to you. Peps RX serves patients in all 50 states; a prescription is never guaranteed.

PHARMACY & QUALITY

Quality you can check

What a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy means for your prescription, and what it does not.

Illustrative photo of a gloved pharmacy professional handling a sterile vial
Prepared for one patient

Peps RX prescriptions are compounded by a state-licensed U.S. 503A pharmacy for the individual patient named on the prescription. That is a different pathway from products sold “for research use only,” which are not made or labeled for use in people.

Sterile compounding standards

Injectable preparations are sterile preparations. USP <797> is the national standard for compounding them, covering cleanroom conditions, personnel garbing, and beyond-use dating, and state boards of pharmacy enforce it.

What compounding does not mean

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed, and state boards of pharmacy are primarily responsible for overseeing 503A pharmacies.

Check the pharmacy yourself

Your prescription label names the dispensing pharmacy. You can confirm its license on that state’s board of pharmacy website. How to verify a compounding pharmacy.

THE DETAILS MATTER

Good questions. Clear answers.

What does the $170 monthly price include?

The displayed monthly price includes the asynchronous consultation, supplies, and two-day shipping after dispensing. Your medical questionnaire starts the process; a licensed clinician independently determines whether treatment is appropriate.

How much NAD+ should I use?

Your dose is determined by the prescribing clinician from your intake form, health history, current medications, and the reason you are seeking care. The strengths listed on this page are product specifications, not instructions for use. Do not calculate a protocol from this catalog or combine treatments without an individualized clinical review.

How long will this vial last?

How long a vial lasts depends on the prescribed dose, schedule, formulation, and pharmacy instructions. The monthly price shown on this page describes the care plan; follow the fulfillment and use directions provided by your clinician and pharmacy.

Is NAD+ FDA-approved?

This compounded formulation is not FDA-approved. Claims that NAD+ injections reverse aging, cure fatigue, or extend life are not established. Route, administration-related effects, and the patient’s underlying symptoms require clinical review.

When will my order arrive?

The listed price includes two-day shipping once the pharmacy dispenses and ships an approved prescription. It does not mean delivery two days after your first visit. Review, preparation, location, and carrier conditions affect the overall timeline.
